So my wife and I finally got with the program and watched Slumdog Millionaire. A brilliant movie, no doubt, with some beautiful cinematography, great acting, and a very clever use of the game show storyline to prompt flashbacks to the major events in the characters' lives. But my favorite creative touch...the subtitles.

Watch This Movie
War Dance is a powerful documentary about schoolchildren from a refugee camp in northern Uganda who have a chance to participate in a national dance competition. The stories the children tell of how they came to be refugees are gut-wrenching, and this movie will change your worldview. The cinematography is incredible...an expression of the art powerful enough to match the subject matter.
